Ballet Wolcott Youth Company

Dancers in Level 3 and 4 that wish to perform must attend company on Saturdays. Company is a time for the dancers to work together and rehearse for upcoming productions and performances. The Company on Saturdays will not be limited to just rehearsal time. It will involve stretch and strengthening, ballet class, learning solos and corp de ballet work, having guest teachers and learning different styles. Once performance dates get closer company will consist of a ballet class and rehearsals.

Dancers that are absence 3 or more times during learning choreography for performances will be unable to perform.

Attire

Due to the wide range of styles that may be performed, dancers must provide their own clean, in tact dance attire as listed below:
Girls:  nude leotard, black camisole leotard, pink tights, nude tights, black jazz pants, black full length leggings, pink ballet slippers, black ballet slippers or jazz shoes, and  pink pointe shoes if the dancer is en pointe.  If necessary:  Other undergarments must be nude in color.  Hair supplies for a bun:  non-colored/hair matching elastics, bobby/hair pins, hair matching hair net.
Boys:  black footed tights, black jazz pants, white dance T-shirt, white ballet slippers, black ballet slippers or jazz shoes.  If hair is not worn short, it must be pulled back away from the face in a low pony tail (hair matching elastic) or slicked back with gel (for performances).

*Girls and Boys may wear “Foot Undies” or another nude foot covering if they do not wish to dance in bare feet for modern dance and lyrical numbers.
