Ballet Teacher

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Ballet Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ballet instruction, a love for teaching, and the ability to inspire students of all ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct engaging ballet classes for students of varying ages and abilities.
- Teach proper ballet technique, terminology, and choreography.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and expression.
- Develop lesson plans that align with student needs and curriculum objectives.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills and technique.
- Collaborate with other dance instructors and staff to coordinate performances, recitals, and events.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents to provide updates on progress and upcoming activities.
- Prepare and guide, qualified students towards professional careers and training programs
- Coach variations for competitions such as Youth American Grand Prix
- Stage excerpts and small versions of classical ballets, and adapt previous choreography for current students
- Support the organization by participating in community events and performances
- Light studio cleanup, organization, decoration of studio, space, including light maintenance
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a ballet teacher or instructor.
- Strong knowledge of ballet technique, terminology, and repertoire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and skill levels.
- Patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about teaching ballet.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ballet teaching certification or relevant degree preferred, but not required.

Ballet Wolcott is a vibrant and dynamic ballet school dedicated to bringing the art of ballet to the community. We strive for excellence in our performances, education, and outreach programs. We are looking for a dedicated and organized Operations Manager to join our passionate team and help us continue to grow and succeed.
Positon Overview:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the company’s operations. This includes managing daily administrative tasks, coordinating performances and events, overseeing logistics, and supporting the artistic director and Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Management:
-Oversee day-to-day administrative operations.
-We Maintain company records and databases.
-Handle correspondence and communications.
-Manage office supplies and equipment.
Performance and Event Coordination:
-Coordinate logistics for performances, rehearsals, and events.
-Liaise with venues, vendors, and production staff.
-Assist with scheduling and production timelines.
-Ensure compliance with contracts and agreements.
Financial Oversight:
-Assist with budget preparation and financial reporting.
-Process invoices, payments, and payroll.
-Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
Human Resources:
-Manage employee records and contracts.
-Assist with recruitment and onboarding.
-Coordinate staff schedules and assignments.
-Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Marketing and Public Relations:
-Support marketing and promotional activities.
-Maintain the company’s social media and online presence.
-Assist with fundraising and sponsorship efforts.
Qualifications:
-Required: Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the arts or nonprofit sector.
-Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
-Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
-Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
-Knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
-Passion for the arts and an understanding of the ballet industry is a plus.
